My experience with Torchlight was pretty much the same as yours, an infinite loop of &quot;I&#039;ll leave the game when I get to the next level/dungeon or finish this quest&quot;. The same used to happen with Diablo 2 (this one had the &quot;I&#039;ll leave when I find that goddamned waypoint). The same will happen with Diablo 3 (I secretely hope that, I just need my fix).

Other games as Dungeon Siege just didn&#039;t have that addiction-system. Just wander around, kill everything, loot, finish quest. You didn&#039;t feel that same urge.
